Cushiest week ever at work :) Two or three people in the office, I've been using the overtime accrued during the fall and have slept in and left early all week. So nice. Not so nice is that the city has just activated all the toll stations in and out of the central parts of the city so from now on my driving to/from work will be much less frequent. Good thing the public transportation system works well.

For lunch I walked around one of the quaint little areas in town, first time in for evah, and for some reason I feel pretty relaxed. That immediate onset of boredom/axiety when I don't have a plan or something that I need to do (which has been the case in the past six months) isn't there. Usually the bus rides bore the life out of me. They're only 15 minutes, but it feels like an hour. But this week, I've been sitting back and watching the city go by and enjoying the ride. Weird.

Maybe it's because I'm coming down with something. Have woken up during the night a few times in the last week completely soaked in sweat. As in *dripping* with sweat. I've never felt overheated when I've woken up, though, so I think my internal thermostat is wonky due to something going on. Hopefully it will work itself out without it turning into something stupid like the flu. My co-worker got hit with it this week and the number of reported cases all over is rising. Hand disinfectant is my new best friend :)

Hit a few shops during my lunch walk. Got me a bottle of this amazing basil infused olive oil. Divine. This store sells oils and vinegars from tap and they pour it into such pretty little glass bottles. Got a bottle of malt vinegar as well. You'd be surprised how difficult that is to get around these parts. Speaking of food, just signed up for a bi-weekly delivery of groceries. Pre-planned meals with everything delivered to your doorstep. 90% ecological (organic) groceries. The menus look great (this coming week: honey glazed salmon, lemon chicken, parsnip soup and some other dishes I can't remember right now). I'll evaluate it and see if I want to continue. It's offered through work, we get it at discount prices and it's deducted directly from the paycheck, so yay.

As always, this has been a report about nothing in particular and of no redeeming value for anyone. Now, carry on with your day.
